R3 welcomes Adam Guziewicz

We are excited to have Adam Guziewicz join the R3 team.  He recently retired from the United States Navy after more than 27 years of service as a Special Operations Officer, Surface Warfare Officer and Master EOD Technician.  He has a diverse background in numerous functional areas including EOD, Mine Countermeasures, Training Management, Fiscal Management, Requirements Development and Homeland Defense.

Adam began his Navy career as a Surface Warfare Officer shortly after graduating from Maine Maritime Academy and receiving a Commission through the Maine Maritime Academy, Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps Scholarship Program.  After successfully performing duties as a Chief Engineer and Operations Officer, he transitioned to the Special Operations Warfare/Explosive Ordnance Disposal community.  He has held leadership positions at many levels including Commanding Officer of both EOD Training and Evaluation Unit ONE and Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal.

Adam’s staff tours include Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group ONE as Operations Officer, Commander Third Fleet as EOD/Mine Warfare/Diving & Salvage Officer, Chief of Naval Operations as EOD Requirements Officer and Navy representative to the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO), United States Northern Command as Current Operations Department Head and Command Center Director, and Naval Mine and Anti-Submarine Warfare Command as Deputy Director for MCM Training and Assessment.

Adam received his Bachelor of Science degree from Maine Maritime Academy, Master of Business Administration from National University, and is a graduate of the Tench Francis School of Business, Advanced Management Program.  His experience in integrating EOD, MCM, and Navy Expeditionary operations with the Joint, Combined, and Homeland Defense communities make him a great addition to R3.  We are thrilled to have Adam as a member of the team.
