EOD Road To War

U.S. Joint Forces Command - Joint War Fighting logo

R3 executed a task for JIEDDO’s Joint Center of Excellence to examine the Road to War (RtW) preparations required by Department of Defense Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Brigades/Groups, Battalions/Mobile Units, and Companies in an evolving joint and irregular Warfare environment. Through data collection and analysis, and U.S. Joint Forces Command exercise participation, R3 provided guidance on the currency and relevancy of EOD RtW preparations and assisting the Services in shaping future EOD RtW efforts, resulting in a fully integrated joint service EOD capability across the full spectrum of operations to defeat IEDs as strategic weapons of influence.

JFCOM Unified Endeavor MRX Support

R3 proudly provides support to Joint Staff J7 Unified Endeavor (UE) series of Mission Rehearsal Exercises (MRX), designed to train a Joint Task Force (JTF) commander, the JTF staff and representatives from each Service component (Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines) to operate as a JTF for U.S. Central Command.

R3 specifically supports the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization’s (JIEDDO) training effort for Corps, Division and Brigade staffs to properly conduct Counter Improvised Explosive Device          (C-IED) and Attack the Network (AtN) operations. R3 provides SMEs with recent relevant combat experience, enabling military commanders to sharpen their joint warfighting skills with a specific emphasis on the integration of specialized C-IED enablers into full spectrum operations for Iraq (Operation New Dawn) and Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom).
